Our monthly Shabbat Seminar program offers BHBE community members the opportunity to explore complex, relevant, and timely topics that touch our lives on personal, ritual, societal, cultural, and religious levels.
Through text-based learning and thoughtful conversation, led by BHBE clergy, expert community members, and outside Jewish organizations, we bring Jewish tradition into conversation with the questions and challenges of contemporary life. Together, we seek to reconcile tradition with modernity—drawing upon the wisdom of our tradition to better understand ourselves, our community, and the pressing issues of our time.
Shabbat Seminars begin at 11:45 a.m., following ReJEWvenate Shabbat services. ReJEWvenate Shabbat Seminars are sponsored by Lisa and Lee Bloom.
