Monthly Lunch, Schmooze, and Social Justice Sessions with Rabbi Reni Dickman
One Sunday per month from 12:00 – 1:30 pm, BHBE teens will gather with Rabbi Reni Dickman for lunch and socializing, followed by social justice projects. Study of Jewish texts related to tikkun olam will be incorporated as a way of grounding the experience. Rabbi Dickman is our new Mel F. & Annette W. Seidenberg Director of Youth & Family Engagement!

Madrichim Program
Sundays 9:00 am – 12:00 pm: Those who choose to be madrichim will serve as aides in our Academy and as role models for younger students. Madrichim can apply for a broad range of concrete assignments and will receive a salary or community service hours for their work. They will be supervised by, and have opportunities to study with, Rabbi Reni Dickman. Participation in the above lunch sessions is not required, but highly encouraged.
